We are pleased to announce that the application process for the 2024 Oklahoma USA Wrestling National Dual Team is now open.

Below, you will find important information regarding the application process and selection criteria:
 

Selection Criteria:

Athletes will be chosen based on the following criteria:
 

USA Wrestling Criteria:
A. UWW Age level World Medalist (6 points)
B. Fargo/Kid’s National Champion (5 points)
C. Fargo/Kid’s National All-American (4 points)
D. Regional Champion (3 points)
E. Regional Placer (2 points)
 

OSSAA Criteria:
A. State Champion (3 points)
B. OSSAA State Placer (2 points)
C. OSSAA State Qualifier (1 point)
 

OKUSA Criteria (Any style):
A. State Champion (3 points)
B. OKUSA State Placer (2 points)
 

Returning OKUSA National Dual Team Member (14U, 16U, Junior) receives a bonus of +2 points.
 

Participation in USA Wrestling events (local, regional, national) throughout the calendar year earns +0.5 points, with an additional +0.5 points for placement.

Please note that in case of ties, head-to-head records will be considered, but final team selection will ultimately be at the discretion of the coaching staff, with approval from the Director and Board. Additional team vacancies will be filled at the age-level Director's discretion after the initial selection date.
 

Timeline:

March 19th: Distribution of applications via social media and email.

April 14th: Application deadline.

April 22nd: Team selection and deposit deadline.
