Greco: Oklahoma finished just outside the All American status placing 3rd in their pool behind Illinois and California. This team battled hard and fought through some unfortunate injuries to finished 7th in the Bronze/Copper Pool.

Freestyle: Oklahoma fought hard and pulled together almost winning their pool having it come down to the very last match against Iowa. They pulled together and beat a tough Missouri Team to become All Americans, which with all the unfortunate  and untimely injuries was a huge accomplishment. This team finished 8th in the country and All Americans in freestyle.

Summary: Oklahoma fought and pulled together as a team more than any other team has done before. I have never dealt with as many injures in all my years of coaching than this year. The untimely injuries are even worse due to the limited number of kids we could take to Washington. Each and every kid on this team pulled together and did what they had to for their state to make sure they didn't leave empty handed. Oklahoma has a rich wrestling tradition and despite all the injuries and forfeits they pulled together to earn the right once again to be called All Americans.
